My brother’s door and my parent’s arms have one thing in common,
they're NEVER OPEN.
So guess what?
I've learned to never be open.
Keep your emotions boxed in.
I don’t want to be disconnected
from the people that should know me the most.
You know where I feel at home?
*hint* it's not home.
It's the feeling of the strings and keys
pressing against my fingertips.
It's the feelings blues and classical music gives me.
Depression and insomnia
are no match for my Fender squire acoustic.
I GET THAT YOU'RE BUSY!
But you have time .
You have all this time but none for me.
Get off the couch and LISTEN
Turn off the TV and LISTEN
You say you’re trying
but are you really?
Big boys don’t cry til they live like me.
